A two-piece set of rain overalls used by double-World Champion Jim Clark.
Coming from a source where provenance is unquestioned, these overalls were used by Jimmy in wet races throughout the early 1960’s. Confirmed by historian and close friend of Jim Clark, Graham Gauld, this suit was supplied by Dunlop’s wet weather department and the BRDC badge was sewn on by Clark retrospectively.
Jim used this suit at events over a multi-year period and there is even a photo-match for testing at the 1963 Indy 500. A genuine suit with impeccable history. Very rare.
