Offered as a package these wings have a very interesting history. Part of the collection of renowned artist and F1 livery designer Barry Foley these items are being offered direct from his family. Coming from such a good home the provenance of these pieces is hard to question and without doubt they all have great use. The main rear wing piece also has written on it ‘1991 MP4/6 R3’ - R3 one can assume is Race 3 - Race 3 of the 1991 World Championship was Imola - a race which McLaren dominated. Ayrton Senna won the race from team mate Gerhard Berger who also clinched fastest lap, having started on pole! Whether these wings are Berger or Senna, they are significant.
