2001 McLaren MP4-16 steering wheel

2001 McLaren MP4-16 steering wheel used by David Coulthard.

Numbered 17/DC.01, the steering wheel is without its buttons and electronics but has all of the labels and identification markers still in place. The steering wheel shows signs of heavy use but is in great condition.

2001 was a year where McLaren finished 2nd in the Formula 1 Constructors' Championship and Coulthard took 9 podiums, including 2 wins en route to 2nd in the Drivers' Championship behind Michael Schumacher.

The steering wheel was obtained direct from McLaren and has a certificate of authenticity accompanying it.
