Emerson Fittipaldi won both the Formula One World Championship and Indy 500 twice, and the CART Championship once. This race used helmet, in the famous Fittipaldi design, was worn during the 1992 CART season whilst he was driving for Penske. During this year, driving the Penske PC-21, he took 4 wins and a further 3 podiums. Painted by the famous ‘SID’ in Brazil, the helmet is in good condition despite having been used and is fitted with the pop-off valve, slide bar, radio connectors and other details one would expect from a helmet of this type.
