Emerson Fittipaldi won both the Formula One World Championship and Indy 500 twice and the CART Championship once. This race used helmet in the famous Fittipaldi design was worn during the 1985 CART season whilst he was driving for Patrick Racing. During this year, driving a March 85C he took 1 win and a further 3 podiums. Painted by the famous ‘SID’ in Brazil the helmet is in good condition despite having been used and is fitted with the pop off valve, microphone and other details one would expect from a helmet of this type. This is a rare type Bell helmet and comes with good provenance. A great opportunity.
