Following a successful single-seater career in Formula Vauxhall Lotus and Formula 3 in the early '90s, Kelvin Burt switched to tin-tops with a move to the BTCC with Team Mondeo in 1994 and 1995 and was widely regarded as an upcoming talent on the UK motorsport scene.

The Brit then shifted to the highly successful Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) squad for 1996 and 1997, partnering Rickard Rydell in the Volvo 850.

This collection of Burt's race suit, gloves and two pairs of his boots come from his time with TWR. The livery on the suit match those from the 1995 season, suggesting this was used in testing or at the beginning of 1996 when he started racing for Volvo 850 Racing officially.

The MOMO race suit is beautifully embroidered and comes complete with clear signs of use, along with matching MOMO boots and another set of Sparco boots and gloves.
